Beaches in the Stagnone Nature Reserve

North Zone Lungomare Beaches - Stagnone Reserve, San Teodoro, Marausa

The northern beaches on the Marsala coast start from the Stagnone Nature Reserve.  These are beaches made up more suitable for children, with low tides and consequently the highest sea temperature.  They are located inside or adjacent to the protected area of the reserve, where, in addition to swimming, you can relax and admire the nature that surrounds you.

Furthermore, if you love water sports, this is the area where you can practice them.  There is kite-surfing, wind-surfing, and if you are an adventurer; head with a canoe to one of the free islands of the stagnone.  Here you will be able to go trekking in the midst of nature.

The most famous beaches in the northern area are:

  • The small dark sand beaches that you will find along the Stagnone Nature Reserve, with shallow, warm, and safe waters - especially suitable for children.
  • "San Teodoro," a natural paradise near the Stagnone nature reserve with crystal clear sea and views of the "Egadi" islands.
  • "Torre San Teodoro" with crystalline, low and warm waters. The beach faces the long island that can be reached on foot.
