Orto Infesta — An experience at the heart of regenerative agriculture
One hundred and twenty minutes to discover that farming can be an act of care, not exploitation.
This farm was born from a simple and radical idea: that the land, when respected, is capable of feeding and sustaining itself. No tractors, no heavy machinery to compact the soil. No soil amendments — neither synthetic nor certified organic: fertility builds slowly, naturally, mirroring the processes of forests and wild ecosystems.
It is a project rooted in permaculture and regenerative agriculture — a philosophy before a technique — where every decision in the field stems from observing nature and respecting its rhythms.
During the tour you will walk through the food forest and the no-till garden, guided by the people who live and breathe this place every day. Then you'll stop — not at a table, but right in the garden — for an aperitivo featuring what you've just seen growing: fresh vegetables and wild herbs, harvested minutes before.

Food Forest — the woodland that produces
An edible forest designed across multiple plant layers: fruit trees at the top, productive shrubs, herbaceous plants, roots and groundcovers. Every element plays a role in the system and nothing goes to waste. An ecosystem designed by humans but governed by nature.
No-Till Garden — the soil that goes untouched
No ploughing, no mechanical tillage. The soil is respected in its living structure: billions of microorganisms, fungi and bacteria working silently to build natural fertility. The results can be seen — and tasted.
Zero Inputs — no tractors, no chemicals
Neither synthetic nor certified organic. No heavy machinery. The farm works exclusively with resources internal to the ecosystem. A choice that demands more observation, more time and more respect — but one that gives back living soils and authentic food.
The aperitivo from the garden
What you taste is harvested just minutes before. Flavours rarely found in supermarkets: concentrated, real, seasonal. A convivial moment that is also — without being preachy — the living summary of everything you've just seen.
KIDS TOUR — For Little Explorers
The tour is also designed for the youngest visitors, with language and pace suited to their age. A sensory adventure through plants, insects and authentic flavours — where every child becomes a real garden explorer for an hour.
What the children will do:
Wild herb hunt — they learn to recognise and collect edible "weed" plants growing freely in the garden
Spot the helpful insects — ladybirds, earthworms and bees become new friends to discover among the leaves
Living soil — they touch and observe the difference between healthy soil and compacted soil, understanding why the earth is alive
The layers of the food forest — they explore the different levels of the productive woodland, from the ground up
Harvesting from the garden — they collect vegetables and herbs together that will go straight into the final aperitivo
Guess the herb! — eyes closed, they smell and taste aromatic herbs and try to identify them
The explorer's mission — a simple garden map to complete during the tour, perfect for older children
The earthworm's story — a playful tale about life underground and who works in silence to keep the soil alive
Price: €15 (ages 4 to 10)
Teens aged 11 to 15? They join the adult tour at a reduced price (€20) — a richer and more stimulating experience for their age.
